The soybean cultivation area in the US is expected to align closely with market forecasts.

In the realm of agricultural projections, the USDA's forecast for the 2024/25 harvest of corn and wheat fell short of analysts' predictions.

Meanwhile, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) anticipates a 3% expansion in the area cultivated with soybeans for the 2024/25 harvest, projecting a total of 35 million hectares. This marks an increase from the 33.83 million hectares planted during the previous cycle.

Contrary to expectations among analysts surveyed by "The Wall Street Journal," who foresaw a soybean sowing area of 34.93 million hectares, the USDA's February estimate suggested an even larger expanse, totaling 35.41 million hectares for the forthcoming season.
