Soybean meal exports are anticipated to increase by 60% in February

Brazilian soybean exports are anticipated to reach 7.3 million tons in February, as reported by the National Association of Cereal Exporters (Anec). This figure compares to the 7.547 million tons shipped in the same month last year. Notably, January of the current year saw a record volume of 2.326 million tons in exports.


In the week concluding on February 10, Brazil exported 2.182 million tons abroad,

contributing to the overall total of 2.943 million tons between January 11th and February 17th, according to Anec's survey.


Turning to soybean meal, Anec projects Brazil to ship 2.054 million tons in February, indicating a substantial growth perspective of 60.9% compared to the 1.276 million tons exported in the same month last year. January 2024 witnessed exports of 1.757 million tons, with the recent week's total reaching 465.5 thousand tons and a forecast of 638.964 thousand tons for the current week.
