Peanuts: Exports Hit Record High of 180,000 Tons

📉➡️📈 After a sharp downturn, Brazilian peanut exports bounced back and reached a historic record in 2025!

🌎 According to data from the Institute of Agricultural Economics (IEA-Apta), of São Paulo’s Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply (SAA), from January to August alone, sales already surpassed 180,000 tons, generating an impressive US$222 million 💰.

📊 This volume represents an exponential growth of 26% compared to the same period in 2024.

🌱 It’s worth noting that 100% of the peanuts exported came from São Paulo. The main destinations were Russia (22%), China (21%), Algeria (11%) and the Netherlands (7%), which serves as the main gateway to the European bloc.

🇨🇳 The sharp increase in exports to China — about 35,000 tons in such a short time — has caught the attention of industry representatives.
