Peanuts: Exports Hit Record High of 180,000 Tons

šŸ“‰āž”ļøšŸ“ˆ After a sharp downturn, Brazilian peanut exports bounced back and reached a historic record in 2025!

šŸŒŽ According to data from the Institute of Agricultural Economics (IEA-Apta), of SĆ£o Paulo’s Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply (SAA), from January to August alone, sales already surpassed 180,000 tons, generating an impressive US$222 millionĀ šŸ’°.

šŸ“Š This volume represents an exponential growth of 26%Ā compared to the same period in 2024.

🌱 It’s worth noting that 100% of the peanuts exported came from SĆ£o Paulo. The main destinations were Russia (22%), China (21%), Algeria (11%) and the Netherlands (7%), which serves as the main gateway to the European bloc.

šŸ‡ØšŸ‡³ The sharp increase in exports to China — about 35,000 tons in such a short time — has caught the attention of industry representatives.

šŸ‘ A milestone that highlights the strength of Brazilian agribusiness and the key role of SĆ£o Paulo’s peanuts in the international market.

šŸ‘‰ Did you imagine peanuts could have such an impact on global trade? 🌱🄜
