In the third week of March, the Brazilian trade balance recorded a surplus of US$ 1.5 billion.




In the third week of March 2024, the Brazilian trade balance showcased a surplus of US$ 1.504 billion, with exports amounting to US$ 6.456 billion and imports totaling US$ 4.952 billion. These figures were disclosed by the Foreign Trade Secretariat of the Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce, and Services on Friday (18).


For the entire month, exports accumulated to US$ 15.062 billion, while imports stood at US$ 11.486 billion, resulting in a positive balance of US$ 3.577 billion. The total trade flow for the month reached US$ 26.548 billion.


Expanding the scope to the entire year, exports reached US$ 65.569 billion, with imports totaling US$ 50.05 billion. Consequently, there was a surplus of US$ 15.518 billion, contributing to a current balance of US$ 115.619 billion.
