The expectation is that soybean production will reach 152.5 million tons, a decrease of 1.4 million tons compared to the previous estimate, with crushing maintained at 54.5 million tons. The production of soybean meal remains estimated at 41.7 million tons, and soybean oil at 11 million tons.
Monthly Processing
April's processing volume was 4.35 million tons, a decrease of 0.6% compared to March 2024 and an increase of 0.6% compared to April 2023, adjusted for the sample percentage of 90.6%.
Foreign Trade
Export volumes remain unchanged: 97.8 million tons of soybeans, 21.6 million tons of soybean meal, and 1.1 million tons of soybean oil. The projected revenue from these soybean complex exports is expected to be $54.1 billion this year.
