
The National Oilseed Processors Association (NOPA) has released April's soybean crushing figures at 4.52 million tons, significantly below the market's expectations of 4.98 million tons. Compared to March, the reduction is even more pronounced, with a total of 5.35 million tons crushed.
Year-on-year, the processed volume of the oilseed showed a 4.2% decrease, making April's total the third lowest for the month. Additionally, oil stocks were also disclosed, totaling 1.755 billion pounds, 5.2% lower than March and below the market's expectation of 1.882 billion.
